It all begins with a passion.

When Covid hit it was time to find something to do that did not include being out in the dangerous world.

At that time I picked up a brush, set up a canvas and began painting.

With no formal training I set out to learn everything possible. I started with pencil drawings of young and old Clint Eastwood, just to challenge myself. Feeling a sense of accomplishment, I looked thru vacation photos and began with Murphy’s Tavern in Saint Simons Island, Georgia. The feedback was overwhelming. This inspired me to challenge myself ever farther. Soon I began taking on commissions.

I paint realism. I am inspired by the never-ending challenge each canvas provides.
